In fact she was saying “I am not feeling good enough”. 

It breaks my heart when I see women doubting themselves. I am telling you this woman was amazing and so talented. 

I have been working with women for over 20 years and still when I hear them saying how insecure they feel I am speechless. All I could say to this young lady was: My dear, yes you are ready. But you have to give yourself the permission to release the fear. You have to empower that inner voice that is trying to stop you. You don’t need to achieve anything more to join us. In fact, you are needed! Your talent, your story, your journey is enough to start and bring contribution.  And I know the feeling, we as women are not just looking to survive or succeed, we are looking for significance in life, a sense of achievement that gives us validation. 

In the Global Woman Club women are already liberated from these fears, and if not very soon they meet others who have been there and they learn how to get out of that zone. If you are a woman feeling: I am not ready. I don’t have a business. I am a nobody. I have to get better…. Yes you get better and better everyday by surrounding yourself with people who see the talent in you, who see the greatness in you and who inspire you to take action. One thing is true for sure: If you are trying to achieve alone, it’s going to be hard. If you are feeling stuck in a toxic environment, get yourself out of there and find the light where you can nurture your talent and very soon you will be thriving.

I must say, there are not only women who often feel a lack of confidence and self-esteem. Many times I also meet men as well who feel so insecure and I believe for them it must be even harder, because society has created some false beliefs that men should be strong, confident and always know what to do and how to fix things. 

That’s why we have created this community with the Global Woman Club where the doors are always open for men as well and we are so proud to launch the Global Man Club on 3rd November. Our vision is to create a community that is not divided for any reason including gender, race or ethnicity. We aspire to create a global platform where our members work consistently to become the best version of themselves and reach their highest potential. I know the people we attract in our community have a shared vision and a sense of purpose, to help others, to grow together and achieve success by tapping into their talents. Talents that this world needs and if we learn how to collaborate rather compete, how to support rather than fight this will be such a great legacy to leave to the next generation.

It is incredible to discover how much potential we have in us, and how most of the time we don’t tap into it until we touch that dark zone and search for a calling. My journey to finding my voice has now become my “why” to help millions of women find theirs.

It all started by reading the books of Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Les Brown, Robert Kiyosaki, Kim Kiyosaki, etc. This is how I ended up where I am now, following them and starting to work with all of them.

Now, during our free time, I am sitting by the beach, taking a walk and meditating while enjoying the sun. I thought I would send you a message to remind you that you are wonderful. No matter what stage of your journey you are at, just remember, you are there for a reason, and this is going to be amazing.

This evening, we will start the session with Dr. Chopra and will keep notes, delving deep into the meaning and putting them into a message so I can share with you. I love sharing and creating opportunities for others.

The Global Woman Conference Dubai 2023

I know you have been working hard, to study, get a degree, find a job, learn new things, build new skills, create an experience so you could live your life fully. But sometimes this journey looks like it has no end. Learning of course is a lifetime investment but at some point we also need to increase the ability to earn as well. I know the feeling. We are all in the same boat. I have been there too, seeing myself all the time in the learning zone. What was missing in fact was not the learning, but how to monetise what I learned. 

In the last 10 years I have been on such a journey. I moved to London with nothing, completely on my own with my teenage son. That trip to London will never be deleted from our memory. Imagine a single mother coming to a new country, with a child and just a handbag (the luggage got lost on the way and they never arrived). It was past midnight and I saw my son crying “Mama, do you know where we are going”. The truth is I didn’t, I couldn’t hide my tears so I ended up asking for help on social media. This is how my new life started searching for my path, with no money, very little english and no idea where to go. Now, why do I share this story with you? Because it took me 38 years to realize that in fact money has a big significance on your happiness. The lack of money puts you in real danger: You don’t have food to put on the table for your child, you can’t provide for your needs and your family. And yes maybe money doesn’t guarantee your happiness, but lack of money makes your life miserable. That’s why later on, when I had the chance to start something from scratch I knew what I wanted to do: To work toward my financial empowerment! I remember sitting on the floor of our little studio flat in Kilburn, crying and calling “God, Universe” . Give me one chance, show me how I get out of this, and I promise I will never let myself down again, I promise I will move and help others find their way as well. Deep inside me I knew I deserved to have a good quality life for me and my son, I knew I could help those around me to create the life they deserve too. I had been settling for very little for a long time. I undervalued myself, I underestimated my knowledge, my experience, skills and talents. The time had arrived for me to learn how to increase my ability to make more money and grow my financial freedom. I Needed to make it work for myself first so then I could help others. As they say “You should put the oxygen first” because “You can’t give something you don’t have”. Working with women from all over the world I have heard many times of them saying “I don’t work for the money” or “Money is not important for me” or “ I am not here for the money” Or simply responding in a very negative way the conversation was around money. This is where I wanted to focus my business and this became my why. 

While working with women who have been abused I remember dividing women in two groups during my workshops with them. I would ask group 1: Why do women stay so long in an abusive relationship? And their task was to write a list of reasons and factors. I would ask the group 2: What encourages a woman to leave an abusive relationship. Their task was again to write a list of factors. At the end, each group would come to present in front of all and interestingly, after a while I started seeing that almost at each workshop, all groups would report more or less the same factors. I did start seeing the correlation and the results would be:

Group A:

Women stay for so long into an abusive relationship because they lack confidence and they lack finance to support themselves on their own. The perpetrators destroy their self esteem and control them financially. 

Group B:

Women manage to leave the abusive relationship when they build some confidence and create some savings. When women start making plans on how to escape, the first thing they need to secure is some savings so they can live independently. 

Now, why I am sharing this story with you is because I really believe that money plays a big factor in our life, and especially women need to learn how to increase the ability to earn more money and gain their financial freedom. This experience has really helped me to start my business. The very first thing I needed to figure out is: what do I want to do with the rest of my life? I had been on such a journey of struggle, abuse, pain and adversities. I had hit rock bottom and I believe everything happens for a reason: we go through such an experience so we can get the lesson and learn to move on. So when I realized what I wanted it was like a big calling for me. The answer was so clear. My purpose has always been to support women, to empower them in any way I can. Now the question is how? I found the how during these workshops. First you identify what is the problem you want to solve. And I had the problem presented to me every single day: Women lack confidence and the ability to earn their own money. 

That’s why this time Global Woman Club is not only bringing a networking event for you, but also a money bootcamp after the network. Yes we will be talking about money all day long, so if you have any “allergy towards money” maybe this is not the place for you. I had booked my return flight to NYC because I am hosting an event there at the NED on Monday 7th August. But guess what I got an invitation to join another special private event on Saturday so I got excited and I changed my plans! I am going to take the train to NYC so on the way I will stop in New Jersey for a quick lunch with the CEO of WIN who is doing a great job with women there.

I have to make sure I am back on time for a business meeting in NYC before we have dinner with Kerrie Lee the editor of success magazine and a few other speakers.

Now I look back when I was trapped into a place where I couldn’t get out of the house without asking permission and now to be able to travel around the world and take control of my life it’s a dream I wish every woman could achieve.

I was having a call with one of my clients a few days ago and I asked her: what is your vision? She said: I always wanted to be independent and travel the world and live my purpose! Then I asked her: what is stopping you doing it right now? What are you waiting for? This opened a long conversation which maybe I will discuss another time how it made me reflect and bring it to the table when I mentor women! The bottom line is, you have to start preparing now for that day! So when the opportunity shows up you should be ready!

As I am sitting here in the business lounge of BA I am chatting with two lovely ladies. They look my age! One of them went to take a tea and asked me: should I bring something for you! I said – a cappuccino please! I asked – what do you do? She said- I am retired!
She looked really young to be retired! I started speaking to myself “I will never retire! But then I said / hold on – this is a different kind of retirement! When you stop working on your business and the business starts working for you!
Suddenly I see the gate is shown In the screen and I said – oh I need to go! Last time I missed the flight while sitting in the lounge!
Right now I am relaxing in my seat and chatting with another woman who asked me to change seats with her so she could stay next to her husband!

In the last 15 years I have been on such a journey which has completely transformed my life. And I am telling you, it has been so exciting and so much fun. All I have done, I have committed to attend 3 events a week. Well, when I started I took on a challenge: 7 events a week, and I did it. The first year, before I knew where I was going and how to get to a place that I liked to be, I simply decided I would attend lots of events, meet lots of people, network, connect and learn as much as possible. After one year I felt I was a different person, I was enlightened, I was clear with my vision, I was wiser, I had gained lots of skills, great experience and became more hungry to keep going. Since then I never stopped.

4. Create products! Unless you have products you will not be able to sustain your purpose and your vision. How are you going to survive? You need to serve – serve – serve. Best way to put this system in place, again: Network – Network – Connect – Collaborate!
5. PR – Media – Publicity! Yes you need to build your PR and make sure you raise your profile. How? Same answer again – Get out of the house: Meet New People, connect, be active – Be Unstoppable. 
6. Position yourself as an authority! Become an expert! How? Build your own blueprint formula. It can start with an E-book, a workbook, or a webinar. Where do you find the ideas? How do you get the help you need? Again, same answer: Get out of the house. Meet new people who can walk and work with you, partner with them, allow yourself to be open and exposed with new ideas and stimulation. Allow yourself to take actions and not wait to be perfect but just start and keep going.
7. Speak – Speak – Speak! Learn how to become a public speaker so you can present your vision and transfer it to other people so they can also believe in it and work with you, support you on that journey. Where do you find these speaking opportunities? Easy! Get out of the house. Come and join the Global Woman Club!
